Dear Representative Huizenga,
I am tired of the lies you and your fellow Republicans are spreading to prop up a corrupt authoritarian Republican administration. In your latest email communication, you sent out a survey in which you stated “In the name of providing healthcare to illegal immigrants and noncitizens, the left has chosen political theater over the American people.” This is a lie. Illegal immigrants and noncitizens are not eligible for the programs the Democratic Party is fighting for. On the other hand, these programs directly affect my life and my finances. According to forecasts, any tax benefits I might see because of the “Big Ugly Bill” that you shamefully voted for will be greatly outweighed by increased costs for healthcare. I’m just hoping that I’ll still be able to afford health insurance next year even with the outrageous rise in prices.
Stop lying to your constituents and start working on their behalf. Restore the cuts to the ACA and Medicare / Medicaid programs before it’s too late and people are faced with the choice between bankruptcy and death.
